So many children in Africa grow up under the heavy burden of poverty. This is because many of the people are living below the poverty line.
Uganda is among the poorest countries in the Africa. It is estimated that more that 8 million people in Uganda are living in poverty conditions and the number is increasing each day.
Poverty is like living in jail, poverty is like living under a bondage.
Many people in Uganda are living in situations that they do not have the resources for even the basic needs of life.
The poor can not afford to buy food, they can’t take their child to school, they can’t get proper medical treatment.
Arise childcare initiative helps children from poverty stricken families. We help these children through providing them with food, shelter, education and other basic needs of life.
We believe that, if we do something for these children, they will be able to improve their own lives and the lives of people around them. Our vision is to let these young children who are growing up in poverty stricken conditions to know that they have a hope to break the circle of poverty.
