Our vision is to let these young children who are growing up in poverty stricken conditions to know that they have a hope to break the circle of poverty.
This is the story Marysha.
When we built our new home and orphanage in 2018, Marysha came into our care as an external student - external students are children whom we got from the village to join our school at the orphange. And Merysha is one of the village children who joined our school as external child to recieve an education. Last year after 5 years, she completed her primary education with very good grades but her parents could not afford to help her join a secondary school.
All the staff and teachers of @Arise childcare Initiative decided to collect a given amount each one, so as to help Marysha go to a secondary school. The money we collected helped us to help buy her a full school uniform and some some small requirents,
But when our friend and sponsor Nina visited us here in Uganda, she decided to buy all the other remaining school requirements Marysha needed.
Today (27th. feb. 2026) marysha has joined her secondary school.
Our vision is to let these young children who are growing up in poverty stricken conditions to know that they have a hope to break the circle of poverty.
